Alan Moore stands up for stealing other people’s characters that are not Alan Moore’s
I’m not doing an adaptation of Dracula or King Solomon’s Mines. What I am doing is stealing them. There is a difference between doing an adaptation, which is evil, and actually stealing the characters, which, as long as everybody’s dead or you don’t mention the names, is perfectly alright by me.
Is there something about having an impressive beard that allows people to say things that don’t make a lot of sense and pass them off as fact?
Because Alan Moore isn’t mad enough, DC Comics is launching a series of Watchmen prequels about each character’s backstory. Which, yes, okay, we understand, but some pretty talented people are attached to the project. Will you read them, or stand in solidarity with Moore?
